Who we are
ByteCraft ("we", "us") is a software and AI engineering company located at Steenwick Ave, Bronx, NY 10475, USA. This policy explains what information we collect through craftabyte.com and how we use it. Questions: info@craftabyte.com.
Information we collect
Contact form: when you submit the form we receive the details you provide — name, email address, company, budget range, and your message. Chat assistant: messages you type into the chat widget are processed to generate an answer; we do not store your chat history, though questions may appear in short-lived server logs used for quality and abuse prevention. Technical data: like most websites, our infrastructure processes IP addresses for security and rate limiting.
How we use your information
We use contact details solely to respond to your inquiry and discuss potential work. We use chat questions and technical logs to keep the service reliable, prevent abuse, and improve the answers our assistant gives. We do not sell your personal information, and we do not use it for third-party advertising.
Third-party services
Chat messages are processed by Google's Gemini API to generate responses; their handling is governed by Google's applicable terms. Our website is hosted on cloud infrastructure providers that process technical data (such as IP addresses) on our behalf. We do not run third-party advertising or tracking cookies on this site.
Data retention
Inquiry emails and contact form submissions are retained as ordinary business correspondence for as long as needed to handle your request and maintain our records. Short-lived operational logs rotate automatically.
Your rights
You may request access to, correction of, or deletion of personal information you've sent us at any time by emailing info@craftabyte.com. We'll respond within a reasonable timeframe.
Changes to this policy
If we change this policy, we'll update this page and its date. Continued use of the site after changes means you accept the updated policy.
